Wedding Season

The advent of winter season in Pakistan invariably brings the spate of marriage ceremonies along. It provides a little respite to the people from sweltering heat that entices them to put their wedding occasions mostly in time slot that begins from the start of winter season till it ends. The winter season has very much arrived in Pakistan. Therefore, the marriages are happening in every nook and cranny. Such celebrations on one hand bring the tidings of happiness for the newly married couples and their families on the other hand become cause of inconvenience for other people in a great deal.
People are used to put the roads and streets closed by erecting weddings tents in middle of the roads and streets without even considering how much it would cause trouble for the flow of traffic. Sometimes, it is also not kept in mind that either any alternative route is available for the flow of traffic or not.

Wedding season is the season which continues through the whole year in Pakistan except for 2 or 3 months due to some religious respect regions. Our weddings depict a very rich view of our traditions.

In Pakistan these days people prefer to make weddings in the winter season because in winter a variety of events can be held more properly then in summer season.
In old days the traditions were were very simple and changed as compare to today's tradition. Previously there was weddings held only in houses. Barat went from one house to another and walima was also of same kind. But now a days People have progressed so much in this field. Special diploma., courses even a study with valid degree is offered. our young generation has gone so far in this field and has spread their tradition all over the world.
But with the passage of time these traditions and culture are including more diversification with themselves. As explained earlier people of small cities block the streets for their wedding arrangements, but now "Marrige Halls" have been build ; even specific lawns are there just for weddings.
